Our work depends on a well-rounded Systems Engineer joining our team to support a new contract in our customer's Office of Cyber Security (OCS).WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related
Experience: 10+ years
Technical skills:
Design, test, stage, deploy, operating systems to various physical, virtual, container, and cloud environments
Maintain and consult for relevant operating systems on organizational computer systems, all third-party software components, and subsystems
Maintain and update documentation on the configuration of supported systems, perform cloud computing platform research and analysis to support engineering and integration requirements
Design interfaces to external systems
Plan, test, install, and integrate new and upgraded versions of the relevant operating systems on organizational computer systems, all third-party software components, and subsystems
Provide technical support to applications and utility developers on requirements for integration into the operating environment
Research and resolve systems software problems efficiently and accurately while adhering to internal software management standards and procedures
Test and integrate software and hardware
Troubleshoot problems that may involve applications and the network
Provide expertise on cloud cluster computing techniques
Maintain technical expertise on relevant industry standards and in multi-cloud computing and virtualization technologies
Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly
Preferred Skills/Certifications :
Experience with servers, server room equipment, network devices and topologies, system infrastructure management
CCNA or CISSP
Location: Herndon, VA customer site
