Description : Responsible for developing and integrating software for real-time embedded systems on Submarine, Surveillance and Surface Ship programs.
You will be expected to participate in all phases of SW lifecycle to include : design, development, Integration and Test.
Could be called upon to work with Hardware and firmware during setup and maintenance / debug efforts.
Work with a small to medium-sized agile team. Perform prototyping a cloud-based Linux system that supports a variety of application footprints.
Rapid evaluation of technology viability to technical leads.
Document System design and perform requirement analysis.
Basic Qualifications :
Proficiency implementing algorithms in two of the following : (C, NodeJS, ReactJS, Python, C, Java)
Proficient in functional or object-oriented programming
Experience with Containerization / Virtualization
Software development, integration and test experience
Multi-threading, memory management working in Linux / Unix operating system environment
Good working knowledge of executing Linux
Excellent software integration and troubleshooting skills
Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
Technical writing to document system and software requirements and design
Excellent communication skills to work with customers, teammates, leads and architects
