Submarine Combat System Integration and Test Engineer

Sonalysts, Inc. is seeking an intermediate level Integration and Test (I&T) engineer with excellent problem solving and communication skills to integrate and test Submarine Combat System components. If you are passionate about working with multiple development teams to analyze and solve challenging problems, and enjoy making a difference, this job is for you. What you will be doing:

Coordinating with multiple hardware and software development teams on the delivery, integration, and system of system testing for new submarine combat system capabilities.

Tracking component delivery timelines and ensuring all teams are working to a consolidated delivery schedule

Scheduling and supporting integration and test events

Developing and executing test plans

Leading efforts to resolve issues occurring in integrated tests

The majority of your work will be performed on-site at Lockheed Martin, a short distance from our Manassas, VA office.

Required Qualifications:

Must be a U.S. citizen, eligible for a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical degree

3 years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or integration and test activities

Desired Qualifications:

Experience working on Submarine or other Department of Defense combat systems

Officer or Enlisted experience on board US submarines

Currently hold U.S DoD Secret or above security clearance

Obtaining a U.S. Government security clearance involves a comprehensive background check. Candidates are eligible for a clearance if they have demonstrated sound financial management (including good credit) over time, are free of criminal records, have limited foreign contacts or ties, and other factors indicative of a position of trust to protect information sensitive to the U.S. Government.
