This is a fantastic contract-to-hire opportunity with a reputable company, offering competitive pay starting from $20/hour up to $30/hour.General Mechanic
Pay: $20 - $30/hour
Requirements: Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting and repair.
Proficiency in overhauling major assemblies and systems such as power train differentials, transaxles, electronic fuel injection systems, and emission control systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to follow technical manuals for repair and overhaul of shipboard MHE and SMSE.
Requirements: Understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and overhaul repair principles.
Experience in diesel engine repair, suspension and steering, transmissions, transaxles, brakes, and electrical/electronic systems.
Ability to meet labor hour standards and work closely with a General Mechanic or General Foreman.
Must not be a mobile service mechanic; work requires critical thinking and independent judgment at customer sites.
