We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Portsmouth. The ideal candidate will efficiently manage patient visits, including chief complaint assessment, medication and allergy reconciliation, and smoking status assessment.
You will also prepare exam rooms, restock clinical areas, and ensure medical equipment is sterilized and maintained.
Your responsibilities will include documenting interventions in electronic medical records, reviewing charts for completeness, and obtaining necessary medical records from various sources.
Additionally, you will respond to patient messages, handle prescription refills, lab results, and manage referrals and prior authorizations.
Collecting patient satisfaction surveys and conducting follow-up assessments are also part of your role.
Adherence to infection control, environmental safety, and patient confidentiality protocols is essential, and annual recertification for OSHA, compliance, respiratory fit, and IT policy is required.
Hard Skills
Virginia LPN License required
Outpatient experience preferred
Ambulatory skills preferred
Must have at least 1+ years of LPN experience
