At this division we manufacture special bar quality, merchant bar quality, and rod material. Our engineering team works with our on-site melt shop and two rolling mills and plays a key role in the safety, environmental, and capitol expenditure projects.Electrical engineers work closely with mechanical engineers as well as maintenance and production teammates to execute continuous improvement projects on-site. Your responsibilities as an electrical engineer will vary day to day as you will be involved in many different aspects of engineering. The electrical engineering role includes power distribution design, electrical construction engineering, hardware and software automation engineering, and technical support for maintenance and operations. All these components and more come together to be able to lead a project from conception to completion and support the facility.[[custsafetyState]]Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering completed or planned completion by May 2025.
Candidates must be willing to occasionally work additional hours beyond their normal scheduled shifts, weekends and holidays on a bi-annual basis during plant shutdowns and/or as needed due to operational needs.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship) in the U.S
Preferred Qualifications:
2 or more years of experience in manufacturing electrical engineering role
