Test Automation Engineers are software developers that author code / automated scripts to test and validate the functionality and quality of the application. This is an essential part of the overall software development process. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be part of a team that will be helping accelerate software test automation strategies and implementations for Oteemo’s clients. Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for web, API, and backend systems.Implement and execute automated test scripts using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, and related tools.Develop BDD test cases using Cucumber to support behavior-driven development practices.Conduct automated API testing leveraging RestAssured, Playwright, and Cypress frameworks.Perform manual and automated testing of RDBMS to validate data integrity and backend processes.Integrate automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and deployment.Conduct contract testing to ensure compatibility between dependent services.Execute performance, load, and stress testing of APIs and UIs to assess system scalability and stability.Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to identify and resolve defects early in the lifecycle.Participate in test strategy development, risk assessment, and quality reporting.
