Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the Agriculture industry, based in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will be tasked with managing vendor transactions, processing invoices, and conducting account and bank reconciliations. You will also assist in preparing financial statements and ensuring data accuracy.Responsibilities: Handle the processing of Accounts Payable and managing vendor statements Responsible for processing approximately 500 invoices weekly using Microsoft Dynamics AX Perform account reconciliations, GL reconciliations, and bank reconciliations Assist with month-end close procedures Prepare financial statements as part of the monthly closing process Ensure accurate coding of invoices and maintain detailed records Perform data entry tasks and maintain data accuracy Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential Proven experience in Account Reconciliation Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) Prior experience in Coding Invoices is required Strong data entry skills are crucial Experience in Invoice Processing is necessary Knowledge of the agriculture industry is desirable Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented and accurate in all work Ability to handle confidential information responsibly Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
