Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. The selected candidate will be instrumental in managing outgoing payments, maintaining records, and resolving discrepancies in the accounts payable data. This role is central to our operations in the industry and will involve close collaboration with other members of our team.Responsibilities: Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications Consistent maintenance of customer credit records Verification, classification, and recording of accounts payable data Regular reconciliation of the accounts payable ledger to ensure all bills and payments are properly posted and accounted for Thorough investigation and resolution of any discrepancies in vendor accounts and statements Generation of detailed reports on all payables and their statuses Management of accounting and financial records Proficiency in using accounting software like Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for data entry and invoice processing Utilization of Microsoft Excel for managing and interpreting data Proactive involvement in projects and eagerness to provide assistance when available Ability to work both independently and within a team. Requirements Minimum of 2 years experience in an Accounts Payable role Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Solid understanding and experience with Accounts Payable (AP) Ability to perform Check Runs efficiently Experience in Coding Invoices accurately Strong Data Entry skills Proficient in Invoice Processing Good command of Microsoft Excel Experience with Oracle is desirable Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus Knowledge of SAP is highly beneficial Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
