Client Relations Specialist

Description We are in the quest for a Client Relations Specialist to become an integral part of our team in Richmond, Virginia. Serving as a primary contact for our customers, the role entails processing payments, managing customer inquiries, and upholding strict confidentiality of customer accounts. This role is primarily focused on enhancing the customer experience in the transportation industry.Responsibilities: Engage in providing prompt and courteous customer service through phone, email, or in-person interactions. Manage payments from customers efficiently. Address and resolve customer complaints and inquiries related to violations, billing disputes, and policies. Investigate and rectify discrepancies in transactions, providing clear explanations and corrections. Educate customers on various payment options, account management, and procedures. Handle account payments, refunds, and adjustments as necessary. Monitor collection systems and report any system issues or malfunctions. Maintain strict confidentiality of customer accounts and comply with all company policies and procedures. Collaborate with internal teams to enhance service processes and customer experience. Stay updated on toll road policies, changes in pricing, and service updates.Requirements Must possess skills in Account Reconciliation. Proficiency in Billing is required. Experience with Data Entry is essential. Familiarity with Invoice Processing is a prerequisite. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Strong Customer Service skills are necessary. Must have experience handling Inbound Telephone Calls. Knowledge of Multi-line Phone Systems is needed. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Must be able to build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work well in a team and independently. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Proven track record in a similar role would be advantageous. Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
