Description We are in search of a Fund Accountant to join our team based in Richmond, Virginia. The role primarily involves the calculation of daily Net Asset Value (NAV), reconciliation of cash, and maintenance of accurate financial records for regulatory compliance. This role is also tasked with communicating vital information to fund advisors and other parties, providing analytical reports, and assisting in the training and development of new hires.Responsibilities: Accurate preparation and review of daily NAV calculations. Conduct reconciliations of cash and generate monthly/yearly fund expense reports along with cash and income projections. Monitor and track subscriptions and redemptions, as well as incoming and outgoing wire transfers of funds. Collaborate with independent and internal fund auditors as required. Aid in the training and development of new hires in the fund. Generate cash flow analysis and other analytical reports. Regularly communicate important information to fund advisors and other interested parties. Report fund NAVs to extended pricing services. Ensure the maintenance of funds’ financial books and records for regulatory compliance in accordance with SEC and IRS regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Must have the job title of Fund Accountant Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in Bank Reconciliations is necessary Solid understanding of General Ledger is required Ability to handle Journal Entries is important Should have experience in Month End Close Knowledge and experience in using NetSuite is required Familiarity with Oracle is necessary Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must Experience in using SAP is required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
