If you are passionate about working outdoors and leading teams to achieve results, this is the job for you!  This position oversees the daily operations of the Highway and Bridge Maintenance Department. The role requires experience in personnel management, highway and bridge construction and maintenance, job safety, mechanical skills, record keeping, and effective communication. Additionally, it includes assisting with budget development and performing other tasks as directed by the Branch Manager. Key responsibilities: Managing the maintenance and protection of temporary traffic control. Operating highway maintenance equipment such as bridge inspection units, bucket trucks, pressure washers, street sweepers, and other related machinery. Meeting daily production targets, handling customer communications, and scheduling work. Leading daily safety meetings. Supervising a team of 4-6 individuals. Coordinating with on-site inspectors. Ensuring the safe use of all equipment. Performing additional duties as needed.
