DescriptionThe Tax Manager will be an experienced Certified Public Accountant and highly motivated individual. Desired skills include preparing all assigned federal, state and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, fiduciaries and non-profit companies. We are interested in an individual who values a collaborative culture.RequirementsResponsibilities:Review complex federal, state and local individual, business, fiduciary, and non-profit income tax returns.Provide research and analysis of complex tax issues in support of management to clients of changing tax laws and implications.Support management with client communications to the IRS and other state taxing agencies.Support management and assist staff members in helping our clients execute tax planning and saving strategies, and recognizing business and personal financial goals.Knowledge and Skills:Understanding and experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals and businesses, federal and state tax law and compliance, tax analysis and research.Working knowledge of QuickBooks and proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.Maintain strong written and oral communication skills between clients, management and staff members and ability to work well in a team environment that promotes ongoing staff development.Experience with Lacerte tax software and BNA Income Tax Planner a plus.Other InformationBenefits package includes health insurance coverage, retirement plan, profit sharing plan, seasonal flexible work schedule, and paid vacation and holidays for full time employees.Robert Half Finance & Accounting, the world's leader in specialized financial staffing, provides exciting full-time opportunities in the areas of accounting, bookkeeping, finance, audit, taxation and more.
