Contents Technician: We are looking for safety-minded, hardworking individuals to join our team as Contents Technicians. You will restore our customers' contents, homes, and businesses to pre-loss condition after being affected by water, fire and/or smoke damage. Your primary role will be organizing, inventorying, documentation including photos, packing, moving, transporting and storing customer contents from homes or businesses to our warehouse or storage facility. You will work Monday - Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional overtime or weekends.
Essential Duties
Address safety concerns and resolve potential risk factors.
Load and unload equipment, furniture and other items to our warehouse and customers' homes, or businesses.
Carry heavy items long distances and up/down stairways.
Work with team members to ensure items are moved with no damage.
Drive a box truck and fork-lift safely.
Inspect completed work and work in progress.
Detail cleaning of items, content inventory and manipulation, tracking paperwork, daily facility and vehicle maintenance
Requirements:
Experience working with moving tools and equipment.
Experience in working in a customer focused fast paced environment.
Restoration or professional moving experience ideal, but not required.
Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs. alone and more than 100 lbs. with another person.
Ability to complete the pre-employment process to include background check and drug screening.
