Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent (Gold Standard) customer service.Qualifications :BSN required18 months of relevant RN experienceBLS within 90 days of hireUnit Descriptor :This unit's patient population is comprised of Stroke, Kidney Failure, Diabetes, Diagnostic Testing, GI Surgical, Respiratory and also includes patients requiring chest tubes and trachs. The nurses on this 25 bed medicine unit are committed to providing world class care and have an active voice in decision that impact workflow. The unit educator offers individualized orientation and oversees ongoing educational development to help advance your career.This is a part time (24 hours per week) day shift (7a-7p) position.As aRegistered Nursewith Sentara, you can excel in your career.
