The associate shall also demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion.Essential Job FunctionsTransport patients to activities as needed.Provide patient care support to clinician(s). Report patient response to interventions and condition to clinician(s).Prepare treatment area before and after each patient’s treatment. Clean therapeutic equipment.Answering the phone, registering, scheduling, co-pay collections, deposits, medical records and keeping patient files up to date and accurate. Complete insurance verifications and authorizations.Assist with maintaining The Joint Commission Standards as directed by supervisor.Maintains confidentiality in working with all patient accounts, insurance and financial information at all times. Complies with HIPPA guidelines to protect patient data privacy.Quality Management Area: Participate in department quality management activities; Collect quality review data; Participate in survey preparation activities; Participate in department safety committee activities; Contribute to the delivery of cost-effective care.Professional/Leadership Area: Participate in continuing education/professional development activities; Communicate and demonstrate a professional image/attitude for patients, families, coworkers and others; Adhere to policies and practices of applicable professional organizations and Bon Secours Mercy Health; Contribute to provider relationships and marketing activities.Team Area: Participate in team meetings; Contribute to development of improved efficiency and productivity of program clinical/administrative functions; Participates as a team member by performing additional assignments not directly related to the job description when workload requires and as requested by supervisor.This document is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, or working conditions associated with the job. Develops and is responsible for the maintenance of a library on equipment furnishings materials and manufacturers of products relating to specialty areas. May evaluate and make recommendations concerning proposals for expansion or renovation for feasibility cost and layout efficiency and functional requirements. Keeps abreast of latest AUTOCAD and related computer assisted design systems pertaining to the retail and construction industry. Works under the general supervision of a designated supervisor who makes assignments and receives periodic reports on work progress. Completed work is subject to spot check reviews for technical compliance with standards and guidelines applicable to the project for selection of equipment and best possible arrangement for functional and aesthetic needs. Performs other related duties as assigned Qualifications: GENERAL EXPERIENCE Three years of experience that provided knowledge that would be helpful in developing skills in making measurements using required instruments computing reading architectural engineering drawings or specifications or other architectural technician work. OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE 1 year of related academic study above the high school level may be substituted for each year of general experience. For 1 year specialized experience 1 year of academic study may be substituted for each six months of specialized experience. Education substituted for experience should include 9 semester hours per year in such courses as engineering architecture or industrial technology construction drafting or other related areas. AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE One year of responsible experience in nonprofessional work which provided a knowledge of some of the pertinent principles methods and techniques in architecture relating to construction renovation expansion projects.
