AECOM has an excellent career opportunity for a creative, highly talented Senior Project Manager for immediate employment in our Virginia Beach, VA location.
The selected individual  will assist in the development of task order proposals; support the management team in tracking task budgets, monitor activity schedules, and implement product quality standards; and otherwise support the Project and Program Managers. The Project Manager will assist in the management of technical and administrative staff on a wide variety of complex projects worldwide.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Manage and lead federal projects and programs, for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), the U.S. Air Force, or other Federal Agencies.Ensure project completion within budget, schedule and in conformance with specifications.Review contracts and sub-contracts and assist  management of subcontractors.Monitoring project financials and reporting to the Project Manager.Develop and maintain design schedules for approval.Manage and direct professional and technical staff to complete complex architectural and engineering projects.Resolve field-initiated questions with the technical design team.Coordinate and direct activities among the design groups.Participate and attend design review meetings and recording meeting minutes and tracking action items.Coordinate the development of project deliverables with the design team.Participate in building and maintaining a positive client relationship.AECOM’s Buildings + Places practice includes architecture, interiors, building engineering, workplace strategy, business transformation, asset advisory, economics and development planning, master planning, urban planning, and landscape architecture.  With a range of expertise from strategy and design through project realization, we create better outcomes to grow economies, protect natural systems, conserve natural resources, make societies more equitable, and connect and engage people through innovative, sustainable design solutions.  Our teams have worked on signature projects such as the London 2012 Olympic Park and Legacy Framework, to the new plan for the LA2028 Olympics, to industrial facilities for GE and Rolls-Royce, to headquarters and workplaces for NASA, Unilever, Sony Music, DirecTV, Box, Inc., and many Fortune 500 companies.
