AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Water Resources Engineer to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. The new team member will participate in all aspects of stormwater management and water resources design from initial feasibility investigations to field inspections to detailed design and hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of solutions.Work will include a mixture of field work and collaborative design work as part of a team of engineers and scientists. The ideal candidate will add to an experienced team working on all aspects of water resources engineering, with opportunities to participate in stormwater design and advanced technical training.Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to the following:· Participate in field work including but not limited to stormwater management inspections, stream flow analysis, and soil sampling.· Prepare plans, specifications, construction estimates, and design reports under the supervision of an experienced engineer· Interpret analytical data for projects to develop appropriate and applicable conclusions and recommendations.· Conduct post construction monitoring of projects.· Perform construction inspection and oversight
