Business Intelligence Analyst (Onsite)

System One is seeking a highly capable and motivated Business Intelligence Analyst for a 12 month contract in Bellevue, WA. Local candidates preferred, per diem not offered.In this role, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and visualizing data from various systems to create meaningful insights that drive decision-making. Reporting to the Sr. PMO Manager, you will collaborate with multiple departments and internal organizations, helping to shape strategic project decisions through data storytelling and analysis.Key Responsibilities:

Apply critical thinking to complex, unstructured problems and work with project leaders to transform insights into actionable solutions.

Partner with various corporate teams (Finance, HR, IT, etc.) to ensure smooth operational support and provide essential data and information.

Offer guidance on project strategies, processes, metric definitions, and analysis, as well as perform monitoring, documentation, root-cause analysis, and implement best practices.

Design and deliver analytics solutions, projections, and target settings using statistical tools and techniques, including data profiling, modeling, analysis, and visualization.

Develop compelling data-driven narratives to inform and influence project stakeholders, translating quantitative insights into meaningful business impact.

Synthesize and interpret disparate quantitative data, identify trends, and collaborate with subprojects, partners, and leads to align findings with business objectives.

Lead the development of advanced statistical frameworks and tools to provide deeper insights than standard rule-based analytics and dashboards.

Collaborate with IT teams to define requirements for data pipeline and Data Warehouse implementations.

Continuously improve internal SDLC processes and establish best practices for data management and analytics. Create, deploy, and manage Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.

Proven experience in designing, building, and managing dashboards, reports, and datasets in Power BI Service.

Proficiency in Power Query and Power Pivot in MS Excel, with advanced Excel skills such as VBA, complex formulas, and more.

Experience with data warehouse design and data governance best practices is preferred.

Familiarity with project control tools, including scheduling, EVMS tools, and project control requirements, is a plus.

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project.

Experience with Atlassian tools such as Confluence and JIRA is a bonus.

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data insights clearly to stakeholders.

High level of trust, integrity, and openness, with a desire to foster teamwork and collaboration.
