Skylark's Cafe is looking for a Bar Manager with successful experience in a busy upscale restaurant(s). The successful candidate will bring strong prior experience, professionalism, positive attitude, strong management skills, and the ability to get along with others at all levels. They must be organized and have the ability to hold themselves and others accountable and meet Skylark's professional standards.
The Bar Manager will be responsible for ordering, inventory, menu development, menu costing, menu pricing, bar schedules, training, and achieving budgeted Bar sales and COGS financial results. They will be an important member of Skylark's management team. The Bar Manager will need to be available to take inventory on either Sunday evenings or Monday mornings and transmit orders to the various vendors.
We are open to discussing your schedule, part time or full time. The successful candidate can typically work an opening serving/bartending shift, but will need to be available as the business requires. The Bar Manager will also be responsible for helping manage and scheduling the staff for Skylark's summer seasonal beer & wine garden.
This is an important position at Skylark's and prior experience as a bar manager in an upscale restaurant is a required. Candidates with bachelor degrees and experience in corporate owned restaurants a plus.
