Fidelitas Wines Harvest Cellar Hand

Fidelitas Wines is looking for seasonal harvest cellar workers for the upcoming 2024 vintage. We are a family run, small-lot winery making high quality red and white Bordeaux wines from Washington’s Red Mountain AVA. The harvest team works in all aspects of the winemaking process, from crush to bottle at our Richland production facility. Harvest positions will last through middle December. Applicants can expect to start working 4x10 hour days per week that transition into 6 days a week with a scheduled day off once we begin to receive fruit.

We hope to have someone in this position by September 3rd.

Harvest responsibilities include, but are not limited to: daily cap management, including daily punchdowns and pumpovers, chemical additions, winery sanitation, pressing, and barrel work.

General Requirements:

-Ability and willingness to work six days/week, up to 12 hours/day for multiple weeks.

-Should be hard-working and self-motivated, with a positive attitude.

-Ability to follow work orders efficiently and as directed.

-Good attention to detail.

-Must be able to work independently and within a team.

-Must be able to work in the USA

-Must have a valid driver’s license

-Must be physically fit with the ability to lift and carry 25-50lbs, stand for long periods of time, and work in changing environments and small spaces.

Previous harvest experience and/or forklift experience is a plus, but not required. We are looking for motivated people looking to gain experience in the wine industry and who are willing to learn.

Compensation:

Harvest positions start at $18.00/hr, DOE, with overtime after 40 hrs/wk.

We are open to working with students currently enrolled in V & E programs.
