Description We are seeking a CW Licensing Specialist to join our team in the health insurance industry based in Mountlake Terrace, Washington. This role involves managing agency and producer licensing, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining strong relationships with various stakeholders. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage agency and producer licensing in line with regulatory and compliance requirements Establish and maintain relationships with producers, management, insurance carriers, and other regulatory agencies Facilitate the process of carrier appointments, from initial applications to renewals and updates Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure all necessary resources are available to support the producers Conduct regular background checks and thorough audits to ensure compliance Track producer licensing and appointment status while communicating updates to management and other relevant parties Provide training and guidance to producers on licensing requirements, procedures, and required documentation Assist with acquisitions and transfers of business books Ensure business objectives are met in a timely manner through effective planning and scheduling Prepare and present reports on licensing activities. Requirements Must possess strong customer service skills. Excellent communication skills are required. Must be proficient in documentation and reporting. Planning and organizing skills are essential. Understanding of insurance industry procedures and norms. Ability to schedule appointments efficiently. Knowledge of health insurance is a must. Auditing skills are required. Leadership skills are necessary for team coordination. Must be able to conduct tasks efficiently. Compliance functions knowledge is required. Familiarity with HealthCare.gov is essential. Must have a background in licensing. Willingness to work onsite. Must be able to pass background checks. Proficiency in blogging is a plus. Experience in acquisitions will be beneficial. Ability to innovate and adapt to changing situations. Experience in contract renewals is necessary. Ability to coordinate with internal departments effectively. Experience in contracting is required. Must be able to align tasks with business objectives. Ability to provide guidance to team members. Knowledge of insurance carrier functions is essential.
