CW Medical Record Retrieval Specialist

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a CW Medical Record Retrieval Specialist in the health insurance industry based in Mountlake Terrace, Washington. This role involves retrieving electronic medical records, conducting data entry tasks, and interacting with various provider systems. Responsibilities: Retrieve medical records from multiple provider EHR systems in a consistent and efficient manner. Carry out precise data entry tasks to ensure smooth functioning of customer databases. Perform system research as and when required, utilizing both web and internal source systems. Execute tasks within strict deadlines to maintain the operational efficiency of the organization. Conduct outbound calls to providers to remove roadblocks for receipt of medical records. Collaborate with Risk Adjustment and Quality Departments to support Commercial, Medicare Advantage, and Federal Employee Program initiatives. Contribute to various medical record retrieval initiatives by providing necessary support. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations while handling medical records. Utilize EMR - Electronic Medical Records and EHR SYSTEM to efficiently manage healthcare data. Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by Team Lead, Manager, or Director in order to ensure the overall success of the team. Requirements Demonstrated experience in Customer Service Proficiency in Data Entry tasks Strong Planning and Coordination skills Capability to perform Research tasks effectively Commitment to Quality assurance and improvement Experience with Inbound and Outbound Calls Knowledge of Medical Coverage and Medical Records Leadership Skills to manage and guide teams Ability to handle Receipt and Confidentiality of sensitive information Familiarity with Law Regulation in the healthcare sector Experience in a HIPAA-Regulated environment Proficiency in using HealthCare.gov, Web App, and HTTPS Experience in Blogging and Business Initiatives Ability to use EMR - Electronic Medical Records and EHR SYSTEM Proficiency in Join Me and Source System software Knowledge of Medicare Advantage Demonstrated ability for Innovation in problem-solving.
