Description The Employee Relations Specialist will serve as a subject matter expert for all aspects of employee relations and engagement. The successful candidate will manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism. They are expected to contribute in creating and implementing strategies aimed to promote a positive working environment.
Provide consultation, guidance and direction to improve employee work relationships.
Lead investigations into employee concerns or complaints.
Provide advice on policies, procedures, and employment law.
Assist in the creation and implementation of programs to ensure a positive, conducive work environment.
Establish rapport and effective relationships with stakeholders to promote employee satisfaction.
Maintain preventative employee relations programs, including training to managers and team leaders
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
Minimum of 3 years experience working in employee relations, human resources, or a related role.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws related to employment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven conflict resolution and mediation skills.
Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and HRIS.
