Our Location: Our Seattle Fulfillment Center (SFC) is located in the heart of the Ikea Commercial District where we have 200,000 square feet of state of the art production and inventory. We maximize our facility with two shifts of production, five days per week. We enjoy a culturally diverse workforce and promote team orientated solutions to delight our customers.Job Vision: The Accounting Manager will manage daily and monthly recurring tasks common within our Accounting organization, including leading cross-functional projects to develop accounting policies and to improve the Cutter & Buck’s processes and internal controls. Serves as point person for monthly closing and financial statement preparation, and coordination of the annual financial audit. Essential Functions: Responsible for reporting actual company operating results in a timely manner, for both internal and external users, and ensuring the integrity of data used in various management reporting throughout the organization, including maintaining the general ledger and other books and records of the Company. Preview, verify, and approve transactions and journal entries and oversee the preparation of the Company’s monthly financial statements. Develop and implement process changes and reports that may result from changes in business practices, contracts, new accounting principles, and other business initiatives. Oversee the data collection and preparation of tax returns. Analyze data and processes to enhance operational efficiencies. Ad hoc reporting to find relationships between disparate data, to enable meaningful business analyses, and to summarize large quantities of data to allow for easier identification of trends or errors. Develop solutions and present recommendations to management. Lead and mentor Accountants and Senior Accountants. Continually develop the talent within the Accounting department by challenging and motivating the Accounting Staff for the success of the department. Education and Experience: 4-Year Accounting degree required. CPA preferredMinimum of 5 years’ experience in an accounting position in a mid or large sized company, or equivalent experiences gained from public accountingWorking knowledge of ERP SystemsExperience documenting accounting processes and policiesFinancial AuditsTax Filings for Income, Sales, and Property TaxesPrevious management experienceVery Strong Excel SkillsOur Workplace: Employees shall work in a non-hostile work environment.
