Accounts Receivable Administrator

Position Type: Full-time, Hourly

Location: In Office; Auburn, WA

Wage Scale: $20.00– $25.00per hour

Benefits: Full-time Regular Employees (and their families) can enroll in medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, and 401K. Employees will also accrue 80 hours of vacation per year for the first 9 years and eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year.

Responsibilities:

- Perform reconciliation and payments

- Communicate discrepancies with management

- Identify slow paying customer and recommend collection

- Communicate with customers regarding past-due accounts

- Prepare and analyze reports and processes

- Gather and verify invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment

- Maintain accounts receivable records by:

- Ensure aging is up to date

- Credits and collections are applied

- Uncollectible amounts are accounted for

- Miscellaneous differences are cleared

- Recording of bank deposits, updating and distribution of cash receipts and posting of cash

- Support other accounting and finance team members, inventory management and cost accounting

Requirements:

- High school diploma, GED or equivalent

- Previous AP and/or AR experience

- Understanding basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping

- Strong attention detail and the ability to meet deadlines

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

- Regular attendance is required
