Job Summary:

The Full Charge Bookkeeper will manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. This role is responsible for managing the full cycle of accounting duties for the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of the general ledger.

Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoices, payments, and collections.

Reconcile bank and credit card statements.

Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Conduct month-end and year-end close processes.

Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and reconciling transactions.

Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports and statements.

Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate payment to employees.

Prepare budgets and forecasts to assist in financial planning and analysis.

Liaise with external auditors for annual audits and provide necessary documentation and support.

Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office, particularly Excel.

Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.

Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
