Pecos Pit BBQ Restaurants trace their roots to 1980 when Ron & Debra Wise opened Pecos Pit BBQ in Seattle, WA on 1st Avenue South. They served two essential ingredients to their customers, warm welcomes and smoked meats. Their delicious alder smoked, slow roasted beef and pork soon became legendary!
Over the years, we have created a hardworking, fun-loving family that is known for serving amazing BBQ and giving astonishing customer service!
Now Pecos Pit BBQ has three Seattle locations, a Yelm location, full-service catering, two food trucks and a commissary kitchen with more locations coming in the future.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Our company is seeking Full Charge Bookkeeper on a Temporary basis to join our team. The successful candidate will be a vital accounting department team member. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking to expand their experience in the accounting field.
Responsibilities:
Primary ownership of Revenue Accounting: Reconcile the Point of Sale system to the accounting system, ensure Journal entries are posted accurate and timely
Primary ownership of Accounts Payable: Includes daily data entry of vendor and overhead invoices, management of various payment schedules, ensuring accuracy of AP Aging reports.
Process vendor payments, issue approved ad hoc payments, record scheduled automated payments in accounting system.
Assist with weekly Payroll preparation, including calculating tip pools, and service charge commissions, and posting Journal entry upon completion.
Record internal bank transfers and other banking transaction activities.
Maintain and Provide AP Cash Flow Schedule to Corporate Controller
Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail and packages
Process incoming cash deposits & prepare outgoing cash replenishment bags
Maintain all Vendor, AP, and other files and business records, digital and/or physical, in audit ready condition
Complete Ad Hoc special projects as needed

Salary: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour, DOE
