Fast pace, busy family-run business is looking for a new member to join our accounting/bookkeeping team and manage billing and accounts receivable.
This is initially a part-time position with the opportunity to add additional duties or expand hours worked weekly in the future if wanted or remain as a part-time position.
Mutually agreeable flexible hours. This is an in-office position. Extremely limited opportunity to work remotely. Flexibility to occasionally add additional hours to your weekly schedule during peak busy weeks is appreciated (late summer and December). Please note that our accounting office setting is small and non-traditional, however you are surrounded by a building filled with delicious smells and hard-working and pleasant co-workers.
The job requires a positive attitude, willingness to grow, learn and be flexible, great customer service skills and a strong attention to detail. This job will require you to collect data from other team members, research previous payments made, assess sales tax codes and draft, send and collect on invoices in a very timely manner.
