Job title: Staff Accountant
We are a boutique bookkeeping firm based in Seattle, Washington. We work mostly with venture backed high tech early stage companies, along with a handful of other types of businesses. We are known for providing auditable, high quality financials that will allow our clients to successfully complete internal audits, pre-acquisition or investment due diligence and government audits. We are also known for delivering high quality reporting that is in line with current industry standards for investor reporting. We are a small team and able to respond quickly to our clients, delivering tailored solutions.
As a bookkeeper, you will need to manage multiple clients' needs on weekly and monthly deadlines.
We have had success hiring parents who drop kids off at school and want to do some bookkeeping work during the day. We pride ourselves in supporting each other to make that school play while making the clients feel like their accounting team is just a text or email away.
This work is fully remote, but we are looking for people near enough to Seattle that in person meetings are still possible. The hours start with a few and grow as we add clients until you tell us you have no remaining capacity. The hours are extremely flexible as most of the client facing work is done by our founder.
Experience Required:
Quickbooks Online (or at least QB Desktop)
