Full-Time Staff Accountant for an Established CPA Firm—Bellevue or Duvall Office

What you’ll do at Akopyan & Co.

Our team provides important guidance and advice that often goes beyond the numbers. The Staff Accountant’s typical duties include (but are not limited to) the following:

Reviewing and preparing client accounting data

Reviewing monthly financial reports

Reconciling bank statements

Adjusting journal entries

Supporting payroll, including check-writing, accounts receivable and accounts payable

Preparing year-end W2s and 1099s

Preparing sales tax returns

Analyzing and reconciling accounts

Performing other duties as assigned by owner and/or manager

What you need to apply

2 years of prior accounting experience and/or associate’s degree in related field (required)

Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (required)

Strong organizational skills with attention to details and accuracy

Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously, switching between tasks and clients throughout each day

Knowledge of Thomson CS Tax and Accounting products is preferred
