Job Summary: This position is responsible for providing information and technical support to MC Delivery Logistics Specialists, drivers and customers, ensuring deliveries are made complete and on schedule and drivers’ hours as well as other company resources are used in a cost-effective manner.

Duties and Responsibilities
Work closely with Dispatch personnel to ensure daily functions are being run efficiently, effectively and financially
sound.
Perform efficient rate quotes, scheduling, logistics, vehicle assignments and dispatching of drivers.
Process daily driver paperwork for payroll and billing.
Input, assign and confirm completion of service requests within dispatch system.
Answer and process internet and telephone traffic.
Operate Verizon FFM dispatch system.
Point of contact for customer service-related inquiries and issues, ensuring inquiries are responded to quickly,
correctly, tracked and reported.
Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience
High school diploma, or have met general education requirement.
Two to five years of directly related job experience/training and or a combination equivalent to desired qualifications.
Physical Demands
The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. While performing the duties of this position the employee is required to sit, stand, reach with hands and arms. Be able to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly and 100 pounds with assistance. Drive a vehicle and forklift when deemed necessary. Use hands to finger, handle or feel; and talk and hear. The vision requirements include close and distant vision, ability to adjust focus.
