About the Will Call position:
The Will Call Representative role reports directly to the Customer Service Manager and is a customer-facing position. Your primary responsibility is to process our customers’ Will Call orders in an efficient and organized manner while providing them with the high level of customer service that Ballard Industrial is known for.
Main responsibilities of Will Call include (but are not limited to):
Greet and assist the customer from initial contact to departure. This may sometimes require assisting the customer out to their vehicle with the order.
Process (pick, check, and pack) Will Call orders within our BisTrack computer system.
Correctly identify the customer's account in BisTrack, align this information with their Will Call order, and complete the Will Call transaction when the customer picks up their order.
Ensure Will Call order status is communicated to customers in a timely manner and properly pass Inside Sales ownership of Will Call orders to co-workers when appropriate.
Keep the Will Call area and all Will Call orders organized.
Constantly identify all “stale dated” Will Call orders which should include any orders that have sat in the Will Call area for 3 days or more.
Assist the sales staff in contacting customers on stale orders and scheduling a new pickup date.
Additional Will Call responsibilities include:
Intake Milwaukee (and other brand) tools for repair & warranty services.
Accurately record customers’ information regarding tool & warranty repair services and ensure that those tools are processed quickly. Properly pack repair & warranty tools to be sent out to 3rd parties or our Authorized Repair Center in Kent.
Welcome customers & visitors while assisting in directing them to requested parties.
Will Call Representative Job Requirements:
Must be proficient with MS Office Apps, typing, and be generally comfortable with using technology daily.
Should be physically capable of lifting 50lbs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Job history of Customer Service in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking is preferred, but not necessarily required.
