Kids Inc is a before and after school program, with a preschool on site, in Ballard looking for after-school teachers to implement activities and provide a fun and safe after school environment for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade. We are a play-based program, focusing on social and emotional growth.

DUTIES
- Create and implement activities that are child centered, play-based, and age appropriate
- Work collaboratively with other after-school teachers, as well as with leadership
- Communicate with leadership when problems arise
- Maintain an engaging and developmentally appropriate environment
- Follow all state and local health department and licensing laws
- Keep up with required paperwork
- Perform routine cleaning tasks
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Negative TB test
- Willingness to complete all required online and in-person trainings in a timely manner
- Must be physically active and able to bend, stoop, stand/walk around, sit on the floor, climb stairs, and lift at least 25 pounds
