Kol HaNeshamah synagogue is looking for Hebrew teachers for our religious school. Kol HaNeshamah is a progressive, Reform synagogue in West Seattle. We teach prayerbook Hebrew in small classes with great kids and a fun faculty. Previous experience is a plus, but not required. Classes meet Tuesdays 4:45 - 6:00 pm. School starts in September and follows the Seattle School District calendar. Come join our team and be part of our community!
One position is a classroom teacher for our small 6th Grade class of 6 to 8 students. Students work at their own pace, using packets prepared for each prayer. Pay is $40 - $45 d.o.e.
We are also looking for a Hebrew Through Movement Specialist. The specialist position includes ten hours of paid training, and they would be working in both our Tuesday afternoon Hebrew classes and our twice monthly Shabbat Morning classes, which are on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays from 9:30 - 11:30 am.
