CraftLab Seattle is seeking ARTS AND CRAFTS TEACHERS for local after school arts programs in local elementary schools across the Seattle area. We need energetic, fun and creative people to get kids excited about being creative and making things with their hands.
Pay is as follows: $80 per class (1 class per week) for between 8-10 weeks of instruction (Fall session runs from late Sept to mid Dec).
Hours will be after school (roughly 2:15-4 daily) and how many classes you teach per week is up to you.
Qualifications:
Must be able to pass all required school background checks and other SPS requirements
Must be able to lead a balanced class for kids grades 1-5, including class setup and cleanup.
Experience working with children in a fast-paced environment (school classroom experience is a plus)
A fun and exuberant attitude towards art and crafts and teaching kids
A punctual and professional attitude
Ability to lift/load art supplies in and out of cars/classrooms
Reliable Transportation to and from schools - car is required
Excellent organization and communication skills
Conduct interactive, friendly, and fun classes with 10-15 kids
CraftLab Seattle teachers receive training and ongoing support, full curriculum and all materials are provided.
