The Program Manager duties consist of overseeing the planning of the early learning program and supervising staff.
Childcare Program Manager/Supervisor Job Requirements
- E.C.E. certification or enrollment in a certification program, with an initial certificate being preferred,
- Demonstrated experience in Early Childhood Development.
- A mandatory background check is required at the time of employment.
- Possessing a MERIT/STARS profile and completing the current 10 hours of continuing education is necessary.
- Proven experience in curriculum planning and classroom development.
- Engagement as an active classroom participant, supporting staff and children.
- Ability to lead by example and be a positive team player with staff and management.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.
- A negative TB test is required upon employment.
- CPR/First Aid certification is mandatory upon employment.
- Blood-borne pathogens training is required upon employment.
- Completion of Food Handlers training is mandatory upon hiring.
