We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, a commitment to providing a safe and nurturing learning environment, and the ability to foster creativity and curiosity in their students.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans that are age-appropriate and meet the needs of all students.
Provide a safe and nurturing environment for students.
Encourage creativity and problem-solving skills in students.
Observe and assess student progress.
Develop positive relationships with parents and guardians.
Organize activities designed to promote physical, mental, and social development.
Maintain records of student progress.
Skills:
Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher(please include your resume)
Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
Excellent communication and instructional skills
Ability to act as mediator between children
Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
Portable Background Check with DCYF
Current TB Test
Current First Aid and CPR
Blood Borne Pathogens training
30 Hours STARS basic training
Job Type: Full-time
8 hour shift /Monday to Friday
Salary: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
