Hours: 8:45 a.m. - 1:15 p.m., Monday, Wednesday, Friday
School located on Mercer Island's north end - close to I-90. Great campus.
Paid time off for school district holidays and breaks.
Position renewable at the end of each school year upon review.
Independent, non-profit, non-religious preschool serving students 2.5 years old to 6 years of age.
Preschool teacher daily responsibilities:
-Ability to plan, collaborate and/or follow a curriculum focused on developmentally appropriate skills.
- Ability to consistently and energetically engage in classroom management with a mind for safety, compassion, creativity and patience.
Preschool teacher qualifications:
-Good interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
- Relevant training and experience in early childhood education with classroom experience required.
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in related field desired. Experience can substitute for education.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23-25 per hour, depending on experience.
Hours needed: 13.5 hours per week (additional afternoon hours available if wanted, 1pm-3pm)
