Seattle Hebrew Academy seeks a full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support K-5 students in our school. SHA supports teacher growth and development through professional and peer mentoring, professional development, teacher collaboration and opportunities for growth. This position will be supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and is suitable for a recently graduated or soon to graduate BT.

Responsibilities:
Implement individualized behavior plans to support students with behavioral and learning needs.
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create a positive and structured learning environment.
Collect and analyze data on student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
Assist students with developing communication, social, and self-regulation skills.
Provide in-class support to help students engage in academic tasks and classroom routines.
Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies.
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of sessions and interventions.
.Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, special education, or a related field or Associate’s degree and two plus years of professional experience
Pass a criminal background check
Have completed or are soon to complete credentialing as an RBT (training, certification exam, and competency assessment)
Experience working with children
Must have a compassionate and positive attitude.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
