Our ten-person firm places a strong emphasis on providing personal attention to each client. We are able to give this personal attention to our clients because of the quality and focus of our design team. Right now, Broderick Architects has an immediate opening for an Architect/Project Manager with experience in similar project types, both large and small, proven self-motivation and multi-tasking abilities, and comfortable leading multiple projects individually and with a team from start to finish.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture - Registered Architect preferred (WA)
Minimum 6-10 years of firm experience
Strong design skills and experience working on all phases of a project
Willingness to work on a diverse set of projects and project phases
Strong communication, collaboration and curiosity
Ability to multi-task and be pro-active
Comfortable coordinating with clients, contractors, and local jurisdictions
Working knowledge of local building, zoning, and energy codes
Proficient understanding of building detailing, components, and assemblies commonly used
Working knowledge of the permitting and construction administration process
Ability to mentor and learn from less experienced staff
Required technical skills: ArchiCAD or Revit, Adobe Creative Suites, Microsoft Office Products
Recommended skills: Rendering Software and MAC platform
