Building Structural Engineer

Structural Engineer Role is on-site in Portland, ORJob DescriptionAs a Professional Engineer, you will stamp off on projects and lead a team of 3 Structural Engineers. Partner with the Architecture principal to create budgets, invoices, and review monthly accounts payable and receivable. Manage projects in commercial and industrial building types, ensuring quality assurance and quality control in designs. Perform structural calculations and draft construction drawings using AutoCAD or Revit. Conduct field inspections at client sites. Oversee projects from start to finish, including reviewing designs, performing calculations, managing a team of engineers, and communicating with clients regarding timelines and budgets. Manage up to 10 projects simultaneously, ranging from small one-day projects like equipment anchorage design to large 5-6 month building restoration projects. The majority of projects are industrial, including warehouses, facilities, and food storage.Hard Skills

Manage other design team members and supervise the work of engineers and draft persons. Direct project staff in preparing contract documents, such as drawings and specifications. Requirements Master\'s degree in Engineering required. Professional Engineer and/or SE License preferred. 4 years minimum experience Ability and willingness to travel within the US and internationally. Compensation The rate for this position generally is$90,000-$105,000annually.This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the Washington State Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful Washington State applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in Washington State or perform the position from Washington State.
