The User Insights Services team owns the services used by AWS to to gather quantitative (e.g. analytics, experimentation) and qualitative insights (e.g. user feedback, ratings) and improve AWS user experiences across all channels (web, mobile, chat).

As an engineer in the team, you will have end-to-end responsibility, from helping define requirements, to delivering features that enables personalized experiences and recommendations.

As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.Basic Qualifications

3+ years of data engineering experience

Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions

Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)

The base pay for this position ranges from $118,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
