Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a hybrid remote mid-level Environmental Planner in our Seattle, WA office to support the SEPA/NEPA planning consulting practice.

What you will do:

The mid-level Environmental Planner will support existing clients and projects associated with SEPA/NEPA environmental review, land use permitting, and marketing research.

Specific responsibilities include:

Focus on technical writing, research, analysis, and project management for SEPA/NEPA environmental review document projects, EIS, EIS Addendum, and EA.

Manage sub consultant team members.

Develop and manage client relationships, proposals, and marketing materials to procure new project opportunities.

What you will need:

B.S. or B.A. in planning, geography, environmental studies, or related field.

5-10 years' experience in SEPA/NEPA environmental review and/or planning.

AICP or other planning-related certifications are desired.

Experience with marketing, client development and relationships, technical writing, research and analysis, and proposal development.

Strong organizational, writing, and verbal presentation skills.

Attention to detail.

Anticipated salary range is $85,000 to $95,000 per year.

What you will do: The mid-level Engineer, Geologist, or Environmental Scientist will support a wide range of multidisciplinary site characterization, remedial investigation and remediation projects for a variety of commercial, state, and federal clients throughout the Pacific Northwest region. Specific responsibilities include: Develop project documents (sampling and analysis plans, quality assurance plans, waste management plans, technical reports, etc.). Assist with proposals. Prepare project schedules, Attend meetings with clients and prepare meeting agendas/minutes. Schedule, solicit, and help procure subcontractors for on-site activities. Manage project tasks, budgets and quality. Train and mentor early career staff. Lead or participate in on-site activities that include soil, soil vapor, sediment, surface water, groundwater sampling, and subcontractor oversight. Manage, evaluate, and summarize data.
