Your daily focus is to ensure proper operation of all club areas and equipment, which ensures a safe, outstanding experience for our members. When a member comes in looking for their favorite machine, you'll be the reason it's working.How you will spend your daysConducting a daily walk-through of the facility, identifying repair/service needs, and maintaining the club's Maintenance LogPartnering with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to discuss club maintenance needsMaintaining, or overseeing outside service provider maintenance of, the pool/spa/steam/sauna to ensure proper chemical balances, draining, and general servicingProcuring repair parts, materials, tools, and equipmentPerforming routine preventative maintenance, including upkeep of associated logs and history filesPerforming monthly OSHA safety checks as required on the OSHA / Preventative Maintenance Guidelines, and modeling all OSHA, company and Facilities department safety guidelines on a daily basisConnecting with members while on the floor to help maximize their club experienceWhat you bringGeneral experience in repair/maintenance of equipment and physical buildingGeneral knowledge of HVAC and/or electrical equipment2 years' experience in operations/maintenance preferredExcellent organizational, multi-tasking, analytical problem solving, and communication skillsDemonstrated success in priority management and agility in responding to shifting prioritiesGeneral understanding of computer skills, including emailPrevious experience in health club maintenance strongly preferredAvailability for overtime workReliable transportationPhysical Requirements/Work EnvironmentMust be able to work in an environment with occasionally high noise levels. The sound of weights clinking, feet flying across treadmills, and the laughter of lives changing can get loud.Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.Daily duties include lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time, and moving for prolonged periods of time.Frequently moves fitness equipment weighing a minimum of 50 pounds.Regularly exposed to pool chemicals, cleaning supplies, and grease/oil from cardiovascular equipment.Travel/AvailabilityTravel between clubs to service multiple facilities may be requiredFull-time, flexible availability across week days, weekends, and holidaysDISCLAIMER : This job description is intended to describe the general job functions and requirements for this position. In your role as a PI Technician, you will be responsible for the following: This position will be based at the Alstom site in Seattle, WA PURPOSE OF THE JOB Carry out the test of trains based in Seattle in accordance with the testing procedure and as per the delivery schedule. MAIN RESPONSABILITIES Understand in detail the Acceptance Criteria of the customer for the Project/Product. Carry out the systematic Hand Over from Manufacturing. Respect with rigor the test procedures. Ensure that all Serial Test Procedures are covered and the completion of test reports Manage the repair of failures as soon as they appear. Trace with precision and rigor each failure. In case of unsolved deviations, escalate to the Vehicle Lead Engineer Propose improvement of the process. Work in a team spirit and transparency with its shift and the other shift. Ensure Interface and perfect working relationship with: Test Engineering Technician, Industrial Quality.
