Job assignment location will be determined closer to your start date.Responsibilities    Field Operations: Interpret drawings and specifications for field crews and craft, prepare work plans and work packages, order and schedule material deliveries, coordinate equipment and material logistics for field crews, assist in field inspections, promote safety and quality of field operations    Office Engineering: Perform takeoffs from drawings, assist in pricing change orders, provide field support and supervise subcontractor operations, track performance of field and office activities, provide contractually required submittals and other documents    Support construction activities by planning, organizing and implementing the following functions: project controls system, engineering interface, subcontractor equipment and material management, purchasing and scheduling.    Assist project management in expediting material deliveries, estimating and processing change orders, preparing monthly billings and progress estimates.    Participate in, contribute to, and as necessary lead project meetings focusing on status updates and other materials    May serve as a discipline engineer or as a lead on a small project.    May share superintendent responsibilities for small operations and/or crewsQualifications    Ability to travel and relocate initially and throughout your career    Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related degree.    0-3 years of construction experience including Infrastructure/Heavy Civil projects preferred    Strong work ethic — willing to do what it takes to get the job done.   • POSITION SUMMARY Troubleshoot, test, and inspect electrical apparatus. Perform as \"lead\" person on projects. Perform other assignments as required. Position requires some technical supervision. RESPONSIBILITIES Perform all aspects of testing and maintenance of electrical power distribution systems. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Job Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and various industry standards, such as OSHA and NFPA. Passed NETA (National Electrical Testing Association) exam. Strong background and experience in all types of switchgear testing through the 15-kV class. Good theoretical understanding of electrical power systems. Communicate effectively, in writing and verbally, with clients and peers. Good judgment, dependable, supervises projects with technical expertise and good business management skills. Strong computer skills including editing, formatting and using templates in Microsoft Word, use of Internet for standards/products/manufacturer research, and operation of computer-controlled test equipment. Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays and night work. Must be available for out-of-town and international travel of up to several weeks. Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear, and smell. Frequently required to sit, climb and balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, basic color differentiation and the ability to adjust focus.
