Hiring Maintenance Technicians in Seattle, WA !An amazing seafood processor and distributor is looking to add maintenance mechanics to their team!JOB DESCRIPTION :

Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, and production machines and equipment by performing the following duties.

Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.

Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.

Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Repairs or replaces defective parts.

Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.

Lubricates and cleans parts, equipment, and machinery.

Tests and adjusts equipment to meet performance specifications.

Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, saws, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.

Sharpens and reshapes tools as necessary. Initiates purchase order for parts and machines.

Repairs electrical equipment. Follows plant food safety policies and industry best practices

PAY : $22/hr-$42/hr depending on pay and experience.SCHEDULE : Day, Swing, and Graveyards all available.QUALIFICATIONS :

A minimum of 1 year of experience in Production Maintenance.

HS Diploma or equivalent.

Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors and bagging machines.

Ability to operate a variety of hand tools to include welding machines, cutting torches and power tools.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
