Job DescriptionHolland America Line has been exploring the world since 1873. Our ships offer innovative features and enriching experiences focused on destination exploration and personalized travel, inviting guests to savor the journey.We’re looking for an amazing IT Project Manager II to fill this role, which is based in our Seattle or Miami offices. You’ll be responsible for management of all aspects of projects with direct accountability to the Program Manager and will require working knowledge of all industry recognized subject matter in the area of formalized project management and methodologies. You’ll be responsible for managing up to 5 small to mid-sized projects or 2-3 midsized to large projects simultaneously. Projects budgets are typically in the scope and budget range of $100k – $500k each and typically involve 3 or more departments with management interaction to the VP level.Here’s a summary of what Holland America Line is looking for in its IT Project Manager II. Develops and leads the project team to the delivery of successful project outcomes

Builds and manages multiple, multi-functional collaborative project and/or work teams. Coordinates the activities of multi-functional teams, as well as the project budget, task dependencies and schedule

Scope, risk, and issue management, including documenting, communicating and facilitating resolutions or mitigation plans

Manage client expectations from initial problem identification and through the project lifecycle

Develop and gain sponsor approval and signoff of the project charter and work breakdown schedule

Develops, initiates, and manages a communication plan, including regular project status reports

Delivers appropriate integration, training and implementation plans and activities

Maintains all project artifacts. Identifies, delivers and documents organizational, application and human workflows that contribute to policy and procedure updates throughout each project

Requirements

B.S in Computer Science or related field of study

5+ years project management experience

7+ years other IT related experience

IT Infrastructure projects

Application development projects

3rd party or middle-ware integration projects

Data Center improvement or cloud migration projects

Working knowledge of Waterfall, Kanban, and Agile methodologies

Risk and Issues Management

Scope, Change, Schedule & Communications Management experience

Contract & Financial Management (Budget over $500k) experience

Resource & Requirements and Quality Management

MS Office 365 suite, MS Project, MS SharePoint

Executive Management level engagement, presentation, and communication experience

Experience leading remote teams

Base Salary Range: $97,800.00 to $132,000.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.

We balance care with accountability Job Summary The Assistant Project Manager (APM) delivers on low-medium complexity projects. This role is specific to account onboarding for new employees. The deliverables include processing new hires onto the account, new hire and hiring manager relations and satisfaction, processing of IT assets, new hire account orientation, process documentation and implementation, and ensuring all SLAs are met. A successful candidate can communicate clearly with all parties involved in a project, including key stakeholders, internal customers, team members, vendor partners and coordinate a project team around a common set of goals.
