We are currently assisting our client with their search for a

Software Test Engineer with Automation and Data Validation

experience

. This position will lead the movement and testing of new customer-facing technologies and the data that comes with it.

Location: Seattle Based, WFH flexible

Duration: 6 months

General Job Summary:
Senior Software Developer in Test to oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of the a customer facing open data portal, technology, data and processes.

Essential Functions:

• Develop automation for customer facing open data portal Technology processes and test automation. Code using industry best practices. Conduct code reviews and evaluate automated testing results.
• Drive agile processes for portal efforts. Serve as the subject matter expert with agile techniques, particularly Scrum and Kanban. Ensure that the team is following the established agile processes, facilitate timely response to defects and requests for new functionality.
• Provide technical support to the IT Dev team (including consultants/vendors) in maintaining data, configurations, and processes for systems that interact with the portal.

Education & Experience:
• BS in Computer Science

Required
• ETL experience• Web standards including experience with Java, PHP, and/or Python
• IDEs, build, and CI tools: Eclipse, Maven, Ant, Hudson/Jenkins
