Description:This role will design and integrate OT infrastructure for machine shop and factory floor applications, using both physical and cloud-based systems. This is a highly collaborative position that interfaces with production, engineering, and IT teams. You will bring:

Experience with developing in Linux build software to automate hardware test systems using Python Develop software infrastructure to support test case execution (NI Test Stand, Keysight OpenTAP)

Experience with version control software tools (Git, SVN, etc) Enable automated data collection, data analysis

Experience with power supplies and RF measurement equipment (Spectrum Analyzer, Power Sensor, Vector Network Analyzer, etc

Key Job Responsibilities

Programming: Working to requirements and priorities set by the GSE Automation team, develop, configure and deploy software solutions to provide automated test and manufacturing capabilities on the factory floor.

QA: Conduct end-to-end testing of automated manufacturing and test applications to ensure all requirements are being met before hand-off to production.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including teams in Production Operations, IT and Digital Operations (KET), to ensure successful project execution and completion.

Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all integrated systems comply with internal IT and Security standards, with designs and code that is well-documented and version controlled. Contribute to the overall architecture for a high-performing, connected, safe and maintainable factory.

As a Software Verification and Test Engineer II on Lunar Permanence, you will directly support program execution of crewed and uncrewed lunar vehicles. This position will support technical development for software test and verification. You will review requirements, integrate with stakeholders, create test plans and procedures, and perform activities to verify and validate vehicle flight software. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Design and implement test plans and procedures for the overall software verification effort. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers representing space vehicle systems, mission-control infrastructure, operations fields, and customers to verify software requirements, architectures and designs. Develop rapid prototypes to prove out concepts and quantify technical risks. Produce and contribute to documentation for software test architecture, design, verification plans, user manuals and training materials. Follow software development and test processes that meet Blue Origin and customer-required standards to ensure software safety and reliability. Support frequent update cycles in support of pre-flight testing, mission validation exercise and events related to operations training. Build and run unit-level and system-level tests, validate using software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop simulators, and released robust test codes. Qualifications: B.S. or higher degree in Software or Engineering related field. 2+ years of software development experience Proven software development in Python Familiarity with agile software development processes. Familiarity with Linux environment and basic Unix system administration activities. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Passion for spaceflight and space exploration. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Desired: Experience crafting and developing software plans and procedures for aerospace operations. Experience with spacecraft subsystems and associated software. Experience in software build automation, continuous integration, configuration management, verification and deployment. Experience in full lifecycle software engineering. Including system design, architecting requirements, software implementation, software verification, system integration and release.
